About the role
This is an opportunity to deliver cyber security projects that matter. This full time Brisbane CBD-based role will be strengthening the resilience of critical energy infrastructure.
The Cyber Security Project Manager will lead cyber security projects from concept through to delivery, bringing together architecture, engineering, vendors and business stakeholders to deliver secure, practical and well-governed outcomes. This role ensures that cyber security projects are delivered to scope, time, cost, and quality constraints while managing evolving risk and regulatory requirements.
The Cyber Security Project Manager skilfully integrates all project management knowledge areas to deliver agreed outputs and outcomes for all ICT Projects under their management. This role will operate within Stanwell’s Integrated Project Management Framework (IPMF) and will utilise Stanwell’s ICT Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Key activities:
- Lead cyber security projects from initiation through to transition into business-as-usual
- Shape project scope, priorities, delivery plans and success measures
- Coordinate internal teams, vendors and business stakeholders to deliver real change
- Manage governance, risks, issues, decisions and reporting with clarity and discipline
- Help prioritise a portfolio of cyber security initiatives based on risk, business value and maturity uplift
About you
- Experience delivering cyber security projects in complex or critical environments
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or other relevant discipline
- Strong project management discipline, supported by PRINCE2, PMBOK or equivalent qualifications
- Sound cyber security awareness and the ability to work confidently with technical specialists
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to brief senior stakeholders and manage vendors
- A collaborative style, with the ability to balance delivery pace, governance and risk
