PROCESS
At Stanwell, we want your application experience to be simple, transparent and positive. We’ll keep you informed at each stage, so you know what to expect and can feel confident throughout the process.
Submit your application
Your application will be reviewed against the role’s criteria. This may include the information you’ve provided in your application form, your CV, and confirmation of your work rights.
Telephone screen
If you’re shortlisted, one of our Talent Acquisition team members will give you a quick call (around 5–10 minutes). This is a chance for us to learn more about your experience and for you to hear a little more about working at Stanwell.
Interview
If you progress, you’ll be invited to a structured interview, either face-to-face or online. Most interviews are panel style and use behavioural questions, so you can share real examples of your skills and experience.
For our Early Career programs, the process may look a little different and could include assessment centres or video applications. Details will be outlined when those opportunities are advertised.
Pre-employment checks
Before joining Stanwell, we complete reference and background checks, as well as confirming your work entitlements. For many of our roles, this also includes drug and alcohol testing and a pre-employment medical.
Outcome
You’ll hear from us at each stage of the process. If you attend an interview and are unsuccessful, we’ll do our best to provide feedback to support your future applications.
