REWARDING YOU FOR THE WORK THAT POWERS QUEENSLAND
At Stanwell, we believe that great work deserves great rewards. That is why we offer competitive pay, generous leave entitlements and a comprehensive range of benefits that support your health, wellbeing and financial future.
Whether you work on site, in the field or in our corporate office, you will have access to a benefits package designed to help you thrive. We support our people through every stage of life and career, with a strong focus on flexibility, inclusion and long-term security.
This page outlines what you can expect when you join Stanwell and how we compare with best practice across the energy and resources sector.
Competitive pay and performance incentives
We offer competitive salaries that are regularly benchmarked against industry standards. Employees covered by enterprise agreements receive guaranteed annual increases. Those on individual arrangements have performance-based reviews.
Eligible employees may also receive annual performance-based incentive payments. These can be up to 12 percent of base salary for EA-covered roles and up to 15 percent for contract and AEA roles. This incentive scheme recognises individual contribution and alignment with Stanwell’s values.

Superannuation and retirement support
Stanwell contributes 12.75 percent of your ordinary earnings to superannuation. This is well above the national minimum and reflects our commitment to your long-term financial wellbeing.
We also cover the cost of your default insurance premiums in Brighter Super. This ensures your retirement savings are not reduced by insurance fees.
If you take unpaid maternity leave, we continue contributing to your super for up to 52 weeks. This benefit supports women and families during key life transitions and helps close the retirement savings gap.
As you approach the later stages of your career, our Transition to Retirement program offers dedicated support to help you navigate this important life stage with confidence. We provide access to resources, workshops, and coaching that focus on wellbeing, career pathways, relationships and flexible work options, ensuring you can continue contributing meaningfully at Stanwell while preparing for the next chapter of your life.

Through our partnership with RemServ, you can salary sacrifice a wide range of expenses. These include:

You can also access AutoTender, a free car buying service that helps you secure the best deal on new or used vehicles. This service is typically valued at $149 but is provided at no cost to Stanwell employees.
Leave entitlements that support life
