About the Role

As the Maintenance Management Systems Officer, you will provide technical leadership across maintenance management processes and systems at Tarong Power Stations. You will manage and optimise the site ERP and knowledge systems to ensure safe, reliable and efficient asset management, while supporting teams with data, reporting, training and continuous improvement.

This role works closely with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance and Corporate stakeholders to enhance system capability, improve work practices and deliver meaningful insights that support informed decision‑making.

Key responsibilities and challenges of the role include (but are not limited to):

  • Managing and optimising the site ERP maintenance management system
  • Leading improvements to maintenance management processes and work practices
  • Delivering maintenance, asset and KPI reporting to site and corporate stakeholders
  • Developing and maintaining site knowledge systems and databases
  • Coordinating KKS creation, modifications and plant costing links
  • Supporting ERP changes, testing, audits and system enhancements
  • Providing expert advice on maintenance management applications and system impacts
  • Training, mentoring and supporting site teams in system use and best practice
  • Managing workflow priorities, backlog reviews and performance metrics
  • Championing safety, quality, document control and continuous improvement

 

About You

You are an analytically minded systems professional with strong experience in maintenance management systems within a power station or heavy industry environment. You enjoy working across teams, influencing outcomes and improving how systems support safe and reliable operations.

You will bring:

  • Experience in maintenance planning, scheduling or systems roles
  • Strong understanding of ERP and CMMS environments
  • Ability to analyse data and translate insights into practical improvements
  • Experience developing, improving or supporting business systems
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Confidence in training, mentoring and supporting users at all levels
  • A proactive, improvement‑focused mindset with strong attention to detail
