About the role
This is a full-time opportunity located in Brisbane.
The Manager Retail Operations is responsible for the accuracy, efficiency and integrity of all operational aspects of Stanwell’s retail electricity business. This role oversees customer billing, reconciliation and market transfers, and leads the continuous improvement of retail operational processes and systems.
The role also manages Stanwell’s outsourced billing services contract, ensuring performance, compliance and value alignment with business objectives. Leading a team of retail operations professionals, the Manager Retail Operations plays a key role in supporting the financial and service outcomes of the retail business.
Key activities include:
- Leading all retail operational processes, including billing, reconciliation and market transfers
- Managing and optimising outsourced billing services contracts and service delivery
- Driving continuous improvement across retail systems, tools and processes
- Leading, mentoring and developing a high-performing retail operations team
- Partnering with internal and external stakeholders to resolve complex operational matters
- Delivering accurate reporting and insights to support business decision-making
About you
- Demonstrated experience across retail electricity systems and processes
- Proven capability managing outsourced service providers
- Strong understanding of retail electricity regulatory requirements
- Highly developed analytical, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Solution focused with experience leading or mentoring teams in an operational environment
- Tertiary qualifications in a numerate, commercial, business, engineering or IT discipline (preferred)
- AFMA electricity accreditation (preferred)
