Lead Service Technician - Solar

About the Role

We’re seeking a proactive Lead Technician to join our solar operations team. This role works opposite the Site Lead on a 15/13 roster, supervising  Site Technicians and ensuring safe, efficient maintenance across the site.

You’ll be the key point of contact for the client during your swing, so strong communication and organisational skills are essential.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide all technical work associated with the preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance activities for site.
  • Assist in the development of site-based maintenance procedures and schedules.
  • Ensure maintenance schedules are attentively followed.
  • Timely response to corrective maintenance tasks, troubleshoot, diagnose, and correction of faults.
  • Support with the administration and documentation for site including preparation, tracking, closing and recording of maintenance work orders.

 

About you

  • Experience with Solar energy asset maintenance techniques
  • Leadership capability and ability to manage tasks independently
  • Strong client communication skills
  • Electrical Trade certificate and a current Queensland Electrical Fitter/Mechanic Licence (or equivalent)
  • High Voltage Operator (HVO) Switching Officer Certificate
  • Current “C” or “MR” or “HR” Driver’s Licence
  • White Card – Construction Induction
