About the role
This is a full time opportunity that could be located and anyone of our sites in Brisbane CBD, Tarong Power station or Stanwell Power Station.
Reporting to the Group Manager Supply Chain & Procurement Operations, you will lead inventory demand planning, forecasting and optimisation activities to ensure materials availability aligns with maintenance, outage and operational requirements. This is a highly influential role, working closely with site leadership, finance, engineering, operations and suppliers to drive improved asset availability, cost control and working capital outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and continuously improving aggregated and long‑term inventory demand plans
- Driving inventory optimisation strategies to balance availability, risk and cost
- Providing data‑driven insights to support outage planning and asset management decisions
- Influencing and partnering with senior stakeholders across operational and corporate teams
- Leading and coaching a small, specialist inventory team
- Strengthening planning processes, reporting cadence and master data integrity
- Supporting whole‑of‑business supply chain improvement initiatives, including renewables

About you
You bring:
- Extensive experience in inventory management, planning or supply chain roles
- Diploma in Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Procurement & Contracting, or Management (mandatory). Project Management certification (highly desirable)Strong exposure to demand forecasting, outage planning and variability management
- Demonstrated experience leading teams and delivering change initiatives
- The ability to influence senior stakeholders and challenge established ways of working
- Strong analytical capability, with confidence using data to inform decisions
- Experience working with ERP systems (Ellipse experience highly regarded)
- A collaborative, pragmatic leadership style with a focus on continuous improvement
