About the role

Full time 12 months fixed term opportunity based in Brisbane CBD, Rockhampton or South Burnett.

Deliver impactful procurement outcomes, ensuring timely supply, stakeholder engagement, and optimal commercial success across all Stanwell sites.

Key activities include:

• Liaise with customers to identify business needs and plan procurement strategies
• Provide procurement advice and training for technical personnel
• Negotiate with suppliers and evaluate offers for best value
• Manage supplier performance and relationships
• Issue and administer purchase orders, ensuring compliance and timely delivery

About you

• Experience in purchasing within a complex environment
• Strong knowledge of procurement law, strategies, and supplier evaluation
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems
• Demonstrates flexibility, teamwork, and a customer-focused approach
