About the role 

This is a full-time opportunity located at Stanwell Power Station near Rockhampton.  

As the Outage Performance & Delivery Lead, you’ll provide leadership and coordination to deliver major plant outages, fostering a high-performing, collaborative team environment. You’ll be responsible for planning, executing, and completing major outages and maintenance projects ensuring safety, timeliness, and quality. This is a key leadership role, reporting to the Outage Superintendent, with a strong focus on stakeholder engagement, project controls, and continuous improvement.

Key activities include: 

• Lead and coordinate major outages and maintenance projects, ensuring delivery on time, on budget, and to required standards.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, driving alignment and support.
• Utilise systems (CMMS – Ellipse, Primavera, Altas) to manage schedules, costs, and performance.
• Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. 
   

About you 

• Certificate IV in Project Management or equivalent experience.
• Experience leading major plant outages, shutdowns, or projects in power generation or heavy industry.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and leadership skills.
• Confident using computer-based systems (Ellipse, Primavera, Altas)—training provided for the right candidate.
• Able to influence without authority and manage competing priorities.
