This is a full-time opportunity located in Brisbane CBD with flexible work arrangements (up to 2 days WFH).

 

Key activities include:

  • Drive governance, risk, and compliance across procurement by developing and refining frameworks, policies, and procedures aligned with corporate objectives, regulatory obligations (e.g. QPP), and risk strategies. Lead assurance activities, embed best-practice governance, and deliver insights through performance and compliance reporting.
  • Facilitate organisation-wide training and capability uplift to strengthen procurement practices and knowledge.
  • Support cross-functional procurement projects across governance, sustainability, data, and systems by coordinating high-value initiatives that embed best practices, enhance supplier engagement, and improve procurement maturity and long-term value.
  • Deliver insights through assurance reporting and data analysis by translating data/findings into actionable recommendations, tracking compliance and strategic outcomes, and preparing reports to inform senior decision-making.

 

About you

  • Proven experience leading procurement governance initiatives, including implementing procedures and frameworks, managing risk, and aligning practices with strategic and legislative requirements (e.g. QPP or equivalent).
  • Deep understanding of end-to-end procurement, including strategic sourcing, contract lifecycle management, and alignment with relevant compliance frameworks.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across diverse groups.
  • Adaptable, curious, and resilient, with a strong drive for continuous improvement and innovation.
