About the role 

This is a fixed term, full-time opportunity for 15 months, located in Brisbane CBD. The Customer Operations Analyst plays a key role in ensuring Stanwell Energy’s billing and settlement obligations are met accurately and on time.

The role involves managing an external billing provider, resolving customer issues related to metering, tariffs and site data, maintaining operational systems and reporting, and contributing to ad-hoc projects that support the broader retail operations.

Key activities include: 

  • Conduct monthly billing and settlement activities including managing external billing provider
  • Reconcile energy purchased from AEMO with customer billing data
  • Maintain and validate data in internal systems
  • Investigate and resolve network and metering charge discrepancies
  • Support ad-hoc projects and provide specialised advice on bespoke contracts

 

About you 

  • Ideally will have experience in retail electricity market operations and systems, similar industry will be considered
  • Strong analytical and reconciliation skills with attention to detail
  • Effective communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
  • Ability to identify and implement process improvements
  • Comfortable working in a small, close-knit team and thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments where priorities can shift quickly.
  • Adaptable, resilient, and able to stay focused under pressure.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Mathematics, Economics or Commerce (desirable)
