About the role

This is a 2-year fixed term role located at Stanwell Power Station, 20 mins drive from Rockhampton.

This role provides technical support and input to the operation and maintenance of Stanwell Power Plant including the management of plant assets and undertaking continuous improvements.  Electrical Technicians are required to perform routine and breakdown maintenance and will be required to coordinate work party activities.

Key activities include:

  • Investigating and identifying faults in response to plant alarms / breakdowns.
  • Initiate and implement improvements to plant performance, maintenance work, coaching and mentoring to others.
  • Developing a plan to correct plant faults and sourcing all required resources to correct faults.
  • Performing work allocated within the weekly schedule

About you

  • Electrical Trade Certificate and a current Queensland Electrical Fitter/Mechanic Licence (or equivalent)
  • Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering
