About the role
This is a 12-month fixed term opportunity located at Tarong Power Stations.
The Electrical Fitter helps carry out preventative and corrective maintenance to a range of plant equipment, systems and processes to help ensure plant availability and reliability at Tarong Power Station.
Key activities include:
- Perform routine and breakdown maintenance on a broad range of plant in accordance with procedures, ensuring all work is completed to appropriate reliability and safety standards.
- Performs Maintenance, Inspection & Replacement of existing electrical equipment in hazardous areas
- Provide recommendations for improvements to maintenance procedures, standard jobs, and drawings to conform to quality assurance requirements.
- Provide input with design and implement modifications to plant and equipment.
About you
- Trade Certificate - Electrical Fitter Mechanic.
- Current Queensland Electrical Fitter Mechanic License
- HVIA Certificate desirable
- EEHA Certificate desirable
