About the role

This is a full-time permanent opportunity located in Nanango, South Burnett Region.

The Stakeholder Engagement Officer plays a pivotal role in facilitating and supporting communication and collaboration activities between Stanwell and its stakeholders. The role will support the Stakeholder Engagement (Southern) team deliver timely community engagement, communication, and issues management responsibilities. This role aims to foster positive relationships and enhance the overall efficient operation of the team.

Key activities include:

  • Provide general administration support to the Stakeholder Engagement (Southern) team, including drafting, proof reading and distributing communication materials e.g. newsletters, reports, updates, and presentations.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure alignment of stakeholder engagement activities with Stanwell’s strategy and objectives and ensure continuous improvement of Stakeholder Engagement processes and practices.
  • Maintain stakeholder databases, maintaining records of interactions, engagement activities and feedback.
  • Generate regular reports and dashboards to communicate key performance indicators and track progress against targets.
  • Support the execution of stakeholder meetings, events, and workshops related to stakeholder engagement and social performance activities.

About you

  • Strong interpersonal skills are necessary for building and maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong organisational skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently, maintain high levels of attention to detail, prioritise responsibilities, and meet deadlines. 
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to achieve common goals.
  • Experience with database management, reporting, event coordination, and research is desirable.
  • Sound knowledge of data management, analysis of data for performance metrics, assuring an accurate audit trail of all communications and community relations activities.
