About the role

This is a full time and permanent opportunity located in Brisbane CBD.

We’re looking for an experienced and motivated leader to join our ICT division as the IT Service Delivery Team Leader. In this role, you'll lead a team of IT professionals to ensure the effective delivery and management of IT Service Management, IT Asset Management, and IT Financial Management services.

You’ll be responsible for guiding, supporting, and coaching your team to drive operational excellence and maintain strong governance across these critical IT functions, helping to ensure the overall success of the ICT division. Key activities include:

  • Lead, coach, develop, and retain a high-performing team with an emphasis on intent-based leadership and management accountability, best commercial practice, and continuous improvement.
  • Foster a collaborative, communicative culture with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Accountable for workforce management and workforce capacity planning.
  • Lead the development and execution of ICT Strategy and Infrastructure initiatives, ensuring effective change management and successful integration across the organisation.
  • Develop annual operational plans by identifying, designing, estimating, and implementing initiatives within your portfolio. This includes providing ongoing support and continuous improvement, evaluating potential solutions, and making recommendations based on both technical and business suitability—ultimately driving greater efficiency and cost reduction.

 

About you

  • Extensive experience leading teams of IT professionals in the delivery and support of IT Service Management and Asset Management functions using Agile practices.
  • Proven experience leading technical team(s) in a complex mission critical environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience supporting and maintaining complex critical. technology environments in any of the following areas:
    • IT Service Management
    • Asset Management
    • Financial Management
    • Disaster Recovery Management
    • Critical Incident Management
  • Accomplished in internal and external stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience in workforce management and workforce capacity planning for team resources across multiple teams to effectively manage.
