About the role

This is a paid 7-week student placement based in our Brisbane CBD office, during the end of year university break period. The block will take place from 5 January 2026 to 20 February 2025.

We are looking for individuals to learn and develop their capabilities within the Energy Markets Division at Stanwell. This could involve work within the Retail or Modelling Analytics. The successful candidates will gain exposure to the analysis, research, modelling and reporting that will support decision making. They will also be provided with great mentoring and networking opportunities with existing Early Careers employees at Stanwell.

Key activities may include:

• Energy Project valuation for generation and expenses
• Analysis of contracts
• Market reporting (creating reports)
• Financial reporting analysis

About you

Are you an enthusiastic and motivated third or fourth year undergraduate student who would like to advance further in the dynamic electricity market space? We are ideally looking for someone studying Mathematics/Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Data Analytics or Commerce discipline.
