About the role

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity located at Stanwell Power Station.

We’re seeking a technically skilled and motivated Asset Maintenance Systems Technician to lead the application of maintenance management systems and processes across our Central Queensland operations. This role is critical to ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient asset performance.

Key activities include:

  • Lead the implementation of Stanwell’s Maintenance Management Strategy
  • Analyse and oversee CMMS data to drive asset performance
  • Provide training and mentoring in CMMS and ERP systems
  • Identify and implement system and process improvements
  • Engage with stakeholders across the business to enhance maintenance outcomes

About you

You’re a technically skilled professional with a passion for improving asset performance and maintenance systems. You thrive in collaborative environments and are confident engaging with stakeholders across all levels of the organisation.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Maintenance Management or Asset Management (trade qualifications desirable but not essential)
  • Proven experience in asset maintenance management within heavy industry or process plant environments
  • Strong working knowledge of CMMS and ERP systems (e.g. Oracle, Maximo, SAP, Ellipse), including data integrity and system configuration
  • Ability to interpret and analyse maintenance data to drive long-term asset performance
  • Experience developing and implementing maintenance strategies, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Confidence in mentoring and training others in system use and maintenance processes
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority
  • A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
