Fixed Term - Full-time, Technical/Trades

Providing electrical support and input to the operation and maintenance of the Stanwell Power Station, this role is crucial to the longer term management of plant assets and undertaking improvements.

About the Position

Providing electrical support and input to the operation and maintenance of the Stanwell Power Station, this role is crucial to the longer term management of plant assets and undertaking improvements.

Electrical tradespersons are required to carry out routine and breakdown maintenance and to coordinate activities in accordance with Stanwell’s safe system of work whilst ensuring that compliance across a range of areas is maintained.

Located in our Rockhampton power station, this is a fixed term position for 3 years.

About You

  • Post trade experience in power generation or heavy process industry
  • Thorough knowledge of high voltage equipment, generators, motors, transformers, switch gear and protection would be an advantage
  • Ability to learn and use SPS Computer systems.
  • Current Queensland Electrical Fitter Mechanic license (or equivalent) and Certificate III Electrotechnology (or equivalent Electrical Trade Certificate)
  • Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and in a team with a commitment to Zero Harm today
